Regional Payroll/HR/Benefits Sales Professional

We’re looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Payroll/HR/Benefits Sales Professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an independent sales professional to manage their own success with the support of a dedicated team.

About the role

As an Independent Sales Professional, you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. This role requires a blend of inside and outside sales activities, including:

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

To achieve your sales targets, we require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week dedicated to sales-related activities and lead follow-up. While you’ll have the flexibility to set your own hours and methods, a greater time commitment will directly lead to more opportunities and higher commissions.

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new leads through cold calling, digital outreach, and strategic market research. You will also manage and nurture internally generated leads.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new prospects and existing clients.
  • Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your assigned regional territory.
  • Deal Closer: Conduct product demonstrations, prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent our company with professionalism and expertise at all times.

Your primary duties include:

  • Sales Activities: Actively engage in all phases of the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with our internal marketing team on campaigns, including email outreach, attending conferences, and participating in other joint initiatives.

You will be expected to use your own computer and phone to perform these duties.

Commitment to Performance Metrics

Your success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, which are crucial for evaluating your effectiveness and impact.

Sales Performance Metrics

These metrics focus on the direct results of your sales efforts:

  • Quota Attainment: Achieve a monthly sales quota of $25,000. Your success will be measured by the percentage of this quota you meet on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Revenue Generated: The total revenue you generate will be a key measure of your performance, analyzed alongside your average deal size.
  • Deals Closed: A target of 4 closed deals per month.
  • Win Rate: Convert at least 25% of your qualified opportunities into closed deals.

Activity and Efficiency Metrics

These metrics evaluate the efficiency of your sales activities and pipeline management:

  • In-Person Meetings: Conduct a minimum of 16 in-person or online meetings per month.
  • Pipeline Velocity: The speed at which you move a lead from initial contact to a closed deal.
  • Lead-to-Opportunity Conversion Rate: A target conversion rate of at least 25% for converting leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Meeting-to-Win Ratio: Your effectiveness in converting meetings into sales, with a target ratio of 40%.

Customer and Relationship Metrics

These metrics assess your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Your performance will be measured by client feedback, including results from surveys like the Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Customer Retention: We will evaluate your ability to retain customers through tracking retention and churn rates for the accounts you manage.
  • Average Deal Size Progression: We will track the trend in the value of the deals you close as an indicator of your success in securing larger contracts over time.

Payroll & HR Generalist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for payroll and HR? We’re looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to join our team in Temecula, CA. AccuPay Systems is a trusted payroll bureau serving small to medium-sized businesses and government agencies, and we need someone dedicated to providing top-notch support to our clients.

About the role

As a Payroll & HR Specialist, you will be a key part of our client services team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing multi-schedule payrolls for various clients.
  • Printing and shipping physical paychecks in-house.
  • Assisting clients with adding new employees and setting up new accounts in our payroll system.
  • Providing self-service access to clients and their employees.
  • Making updates to payroll setups, including bank information and tax withholdings.
  • Correcting payroll tax returns and W-2s as needed.
  • Answering client calls and providing expert support.
  • Assisting with special projects and various annual audits, such as Workers’ Comp

You’ll also need a foundational understanding of a broad range of HR functions and best practices, including compensation, performance management, employee relations, and labor laws. A familiarity with payroll and accounting concepts is essential.

Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or income tax filing.
  • An Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic tax forms, including Forms 941, 940, 943, 944, W-2s, and 1099s.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. You should be comfortable with advanced Excel functions like V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience with iSolved HCM or other major HCM platforms is a plus.

Skills & Qualities

  • Proven experience in a relevant HR or administrative support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of labor laws and human resources best practices.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
